Description :

UrgoTul® is a non-adhesive, non-occlusive contact layer, composed of a polyester mesh impregnated with Lipido-Colloid Technology (TLC). TLC is composed of hydrocolloid particles (carboxymethylcellulose), paraffin oil, petrolatum and polymers. The TLC (Lipido-Colloid Technology) is an exclusive patented innovation from Urgo.

INDICATIONS :

UrgoTul is indicated for :

Acute wounds (burns, dermal abrasions, traumatic wounds, postoperative wounds), chronic wounds (pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers) at the granulation and epithelialisation stage.
Non to low exuding wounds
Non infected
Can be combined with a secondary dressing
Can be used in cavity wounds

BENEFITS:

In contact with wound exudate, the hydrocolloid particles interact with the petroleum jelly component to form a lipido-colloid interface. The interface creates a moist environment ideal for wound healing.
