The lockable drainage line is designed for use with the PleurX™ Pleural Catheter System or PeritX™ Peritoneal Catheter System to facilitate intermittent drainage. It enables fluid drainage through the catheter system using portable suction, standard wall suction, a water seal drainage system, or other suitable methods, rather than a vacuum bottle. Given the unique valve access system of the PleurX™ Pleural Catheter System or PeritX™ Peritoneal Catheter System, it is recommended that patients always have a lockable drainage line unit available, especially for emergencies in hospital settings
